Hire Agreement - Terms and Conditions

Thank you for hiring with us! We take care of our equipment and hope you will too.
Please take care not to scratch or cause damage to frames, fabrics or parts so we can continue to uphold our high standards of service

When hiring our equipment, you must agree with the following Terms and Conditions of Hire. We advise you to carefully note the items pertaining to your hired equipment.

NOTE: Our equipment is not to be taken on aircraft, it is not insured for this.

HANDOVER:
IF YOU ARE COLLECTING FROM US

  • We are located at 19 Billiard Street, Bracken Ridge by appointment only. The times stated in your confirmation email are your appointment times.
  • Any change to dates/times are to be agreed in writing via email or via SMS to 0435 552 382 as we may not otherwise be available due to offsite delivery schedule.

IF WE ARE DELIVERING

  • Please allow up to 30mins possible delay. We will notify the contact person beyond this.
  • For car seats please have your vehicle in an accessible parking spot or Visitor’s carpark where all doors can be opened and notify of any parking/directions to locate you easily.
  • For hotels we deliver to and collect from Reception and will advise you once complete.
  • For other accommodation, we deliver to Ground Floor only – no stairs.

EQUIPMENT CONDITION:

  • Your equipment will be presented in clean, working order. Advise us of any issues with equipment within 24hrs of receiving, in writing (email/sms) with photos, after which you will be responsible for any damage/loss.
  • Any damage/loss will require replacement or repair at your cost, in part where possible, if not, the entire product.

CLEANING – All Equipment:

  • Please immediately spot clean accidents with soapy water or baby wipes to prevent stain setting. DO NOT USE BLEACH on any of our equipment.
  • GLITTER, bodily fluids and sticky drinks/food stains on any of our equipment will incur a $30 cleaning fee, deducted from your bond.

CAR SEATS:

  • Make sure to REMOVE CHILD'S SHOES as the velcro/buckles cause irreparable damage to fabrics. This is non-negotiable as replacement fabrics cost $300+
  • If harness pads or crotch pads are removed during hire please re-attached prior to return to prevent loss
  • Installation takes 5-10 mins (per seat) installed firstly on passenger side by default, second seat on driver's side. Other configurations will depend on the vehicle.

STROLLERS:

  • Strollers with small wheels are not to be wheeled in sand. Sand can irreparably damage wheel bearings/brakes and will require replacement at your cost. Our all-terrain models are more suited to these adventures.
  • Please carry strollers by the frame or only handles provided for this purpose. Harness straps are not strong enough and will break.
  • When folding/storing stroller please take care not to scratch/damage frame.
  • Do not overload the basket as it may drag, tear or break.

BEDDING:

  • Our bedding is supplied with 2 x quilted cotton waterproof fitted sheets PLEASE USE THEM to protect our equipment. They are freshly laundered and sanitised in baby-safe product. Napisan or similar is approved for bed linen accidents (DO NOT bleach).
  • Linen is not required to be laundered prior to return, unless soiled. Permanent stains will require replacement of the item at your cost.

HIGH CHAIRS:

  • Wipe with mild soap and water only, no harsh chemicals or bleach. Do not immerse in water (shower. bath or hose). We have Charli Chairs for this purpose.

TOYS:

  • Do not put in dishwasher or clean with harsh chemicals. Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent only.

STERILISERS:

  • Wash bottles and accessories with mild detergent and water prior to sterilising.
  • Put 80ml of water in steriliser before turning it on.

**RETURN OF ITEMS**

  • Please notify any date/time changes or request an extension via email or SMS to 0435 552 382 as this affects our schedule and we may not be available for the return, or the equipment may not be available for extension.
  • Ensure all parts are included and returned as hired, packed in bags if provided.
  • Re-attach car seat harness pads if removed during hire, pram liners, belly bars, etc to prevent loss.
  • IF HIRE CAR: Any smaller items hired (eg. window shades, mirrors, etc) need to be removed and attached to a larger item (car seat/stroller). Loose items left in the hire cars are discarded by hire car staff. Replacement will be at your cost.
